Try to contact a licensed federal firearms dealer. I think you can do it legally but you have to spend the money.

Agree with ArmedRealtor. Ruger MK III, Buckmark is ok. Mosquito, seen a few lemons, takes a lot to break. S&W 22A.

Never had one but heard it was a jam-o-matic.
 
I'd go for the Buckmark.  Better accuracy pistol.  Noticed you didn't indicate Ruger MK III.  that's actually my #1 if i had a choice.
